The toprock moves are easier and are generally used by bboys to warm up before doing bigger moves, and this are the easier moves in toprock, basic toprock, side-step, boyoing, power step and latin rock.
The footwork can be more complicated and is used together with other moves and this are the different footwork, 2 step, 3 step, 4 step, 5 step, 6 step, 7 step, 8 step, 10 step, 12 step, zulu spins, kick-outs, spindle, swapping, shuffles and coffee grinder.

The freeze is a move that is use to signify the end of the dance and as it suspends the person doing it, it creates an impression that lasts either on the viewers or the judges. This are the different freeze moves, baby freeze, air chair, side chair, elbow freeze, dead freeze, shoulder freeze, g-kick, headstand, hollowback, pike and flag.

The power moves are moves whereby the dancer moves in a spinning motion, and as it is usually the hardest move in breakdancing, it is where the judges rate the breakdancers. This are the power moves, flare, swipe, windmill, back spin, side spin, halos, head spin and head slide.
